David Pettit, owner, started in 1977 with one account and the business has now grown to provide services to over 150 different accounts

ADC Management Team
David Pettit, President and CEO
David is the founder of ADC and has served as its president since 1977. He orchestrated the reorganization of ADC in 2007, which included the merger with sister company American Parcel Solutions (APS) and it’s organization into a holding company and 3 operating entities. He currently serves on the Executive Board of ADC Holding LLC as President and CEO.

David is dedicated to increasing his knowledge of the industry and has taken many industry related courses over the years such as Public Warehouse Management (Michigan State University) and Advanced Courses in Warehousing and Logistics Management (University of Nevada). He is a member of the Government Affairs Committee, has served on the Board of Directors as well as being Chairman for (IWLA) International Warehousing Logistics Association. He received a degree in Finance from the University of Utah and an MBA from Brigham Young University. He is committed to continuous improvement in his ability to develop the most effective programs for ADC's customers.

 
Melanie Vest, Executive Vice President Administration
Melanie has over 25 years of broad and varied work experience in the public warehousing industry. She came to ADC 10 years ago when it acquired Certified Warehousing in Salt Lake City, UT. Melanie first started in the warehouse business as an account representative handling customer service issues and inventory control. Later, she gained broadened experience in sales, operations and quality control roles. Her love of the business and working with people has led to her advancement within the company. Melanie is a key “go-to” person within the company; she just gets the job done—no excuses. She currently serves on the Executive Board as Executive Vice President of Administration and oversees both Customer Service and Human Resource functions. ADC Salt Lake operates a food-grade warehouse and Melanie is a licensed sanitarian. She is a member of WERC (Warehouse Education & Research Council) and participates in the activities of the organization locally and nationally.

 
Jason Walker, Chief Operations Officer (COO)
Jason has worked in the transportation industry for 14 years. He joined ADC in 1997 to run the new transportation arm of the company at the request of the founder and is now a partner in the new ADC companies. Jason began his logistics career with UPS and rose through various engineering and logistics roles until he achieved a senior regional management role at the parcel giant.

After starting and running the transportation business of ADC for 10 years, Jason is currently the Chief Operations Officer for all operation segments. He has held various operational, logistic, and engineering management positions during his career.

Jason completed his undergraduate work in Business Administration at Southern Illinois University.. He attended graduate school in Operation Management at University of La Verne. He is an active member of CLM (Council of Logistics Management).

 
Lenny G. Goodwin, Executive Vice President
Sales and Marketing
Lenny was co-founder of APS in 2000 and is now a Senior Manager of ADC, which merged operations with APS in July 2007. He currently serves on the Executive Board for ADC as Executive Vice President for Sales and Marketing.

Lenny has been a successful entrepreneur and business executive for 32 years in real estate development, hotel management, construction, manufacturing and logistics. His broad background in business planning, project economics and management, international sales and marketing and capital markets give him a unique perspective and ability to adapt his experiences to the task at hand. He is a member of the Parcel Shipper’s Association and is active on the USPS MTAC 107 eVS surface visibility group. He attended Brigham Young University’s School of Business and Marketing.

 
Marshall Pettit, Chief Information Officer (CIO)
Marshall currently serves as the company’s Chief Information Officer, supporting systems and data integration. He also serves on the Executive Management Board of ADC for Information Technology and works with IT personnel, consultants and system providers.

Upon graduating from Brigham Young University’s Marriott School of Management with an emphasis in Information Systems, Marshall began his career with the APS and ADC team in 2002. Initially he served as APS's technical support and customer service manager. He quickly became integrated into ADC by assisting with their warehouse and traffic management systems. Marshall has been key in guiding the company system development into the Data Age, integrating the vastly different requirements of our customers and our systems.
